Who this is for

Beginners are welcome. Whether you're brand new to astrology or have studied for years, we start where you are.

It's probably not the right fit if you want a quick certificate, a self-paced video course, or astrology mainly for entertainment. That's not a judgment. It's just a different container.

What you'll learn

The year runs on two tracks at once: the chart and the practice. Most astrology training stops at the first. This one doesn't.

The chart

  • The foundations: planets, signs, houses and aspects, learned as a living language
  • Evolutionary astrology: the lunar nodes, the soul's story, and the tension between past and future
  • Timing: transits, secondary progressions and the solar return
  • Values and relationship: Venus and the values signatures in a chart
  • The reading itself: opening a session, holding space, and speaking in language that empowers rather than predicts
  • Ethics: what to say, what not to say, and when to refer someone elsewhere

The practice

  • Designing your offers and setting your prices
  • Booking, intake forms and session flow
  • Money: tracking income and expenses, setting aside taxes, paying yourself
  • Finding your first clients and building a book of returning ones
  • Boundaries, energy and sustainability, so the work doesn't burn you out

Before astrology, I was a banker and a CFO. The business side is not an afterthought here. It's half the apprenticeship.

A year, fully one on one

  • Twelve 90-minute private sessions, one each month, on Zoom
  • A weekly journal practice about your study, your readings and what you're noticing
  • Personal written feedback from me, by email, every week
  • Monthly homework: chart studies, practice readings and business assignments
  • Business coaching woven through the whole year
  • Text support as you start seeing clients of your own
  • Your own chart as a teaching text throughout the year
  • A certificate of completion at the end of your year
A month, together
  1. Session. We meet for 90 minutes: new material, your questions, your homework.
  2. Journal. Every week you write and share your entry with me.
  3. Feedback. Every week I email you personal feedback.
  4. Practice. You read charts for friends, family and, later, clients.
  5. Support. When a question comes up in a real reading, you text me.
  6. Build. One step on your business each month, so by year's end the practice exists, not just the skill.

Text support runs Monday to Friday, with replies within two business days. Questions about an upcoming client reading come first.

I'm Christine Alexander, an evolutionary astrologer and coach. I was a banker and a CFO. I became a Reiki master in 2001, and I've read charts for clients for more than ten years, many of whom come back every year for their solar return. I founded a nonprofit and built it from strategy to spreadsheets.

Most astrologers are taught to read the chart. You'll learn that, and how to build a practice that lasts. I'm also a mother of two, so I teach with real life in mind.

Questions

Is this really one on one?

Yes, completely. Every session is just you and me, never a group call. Your weekly journal feedback is written by me, personally. When you text a question about a client's chart, I'm the one who answers.

Do I need to know astrology already?

Not at all. Beginners are welcome, and I love teaching them. If you've already studied, we'll start where you are.

Is it online, and when does it start?

All sessions are on Zoom, so you can join from anywhere. Apprenticeships begin when a seat opens; we set your start date together after our call.

Will I be certified?

You'll receive a certificate of completion at the end of the year. Astrology has no single licensing body, so what matters most is your skill and your clients' trust. That's what we build.

Can I see clients during the year?

Yes, and you're encouraged to. Most of the learning happens once real people are in front of you.

What if life gets in the way?

It happens. You can pause once during the year, for up to 60 days. Your sessions and weekly feedback pick up where we left off, your year extends by the length of the pause, and on the monthly plan, payments pause too.

Is there a refund policy?

Because this is a personal, year-long commitment on both sides, tuition isn't refundable. That's what the application and our call are for: we make sure it's the right fit together before you begin.
